Club Sandwich & Spring Rolls At Café Kwae Is To Die For!

The first struggle was in pronouncing the name rightly. Apparently when I asked one of the attendants to pronounce it appropriately, he effortlessly put me to shame.

At the entrance, I met Naa Oyoo Quartey, one of Ghana’s female lifestyle bloggers. After a brief talk about the harmattan’s effect on our natural hair and introducing each other’s ‘rendezvous‘, she carefully said,

“whatever you take in here, DON’T FORGET to try the Spring Rolls!”

Why not?

The all day café/restaurant, founded by Yvette Nana Ama Ansah holds a tranquil casual setting for any day time catch up or quiet date nights… not so over the top; a glass of freshly ground coffee, cold-pressed juice, lunch, mouthwatering desserts, and wine.

So let me hit the nail right on its head. Naa Oyoo, the Spring Rolls was JUST IT! It was succulent, crispy too, and the best spring rolls I’ve ever devoured. I ordered for their Club Sandwich as well, and meeehhhhn! was it almost orgasmic 😯 !! Crunchy on the outside, lusciously tender on the inside; greens, ham, melted cheddar, mayo, something sweet, and… oh yeah thanks to my ‘rendezvous’, I got that surprisingly amazing ingredient -Cod Liver Oil! Why didn’t I discover Café Kwae earlier??

About the cocktail; I should’ve registered the name, mine had a local name, but wasn’t as nice as his. Unfortunately, he spilled his and cautioned me not to blog about it… I won’t.
